Love box just took to long to receive

Perhaps the second best XBMC TV box under $100., November 19, 2014
Perhaps the second best XBMC TV box under $100. The box is generally good. The SD and 4 USB give the Gbox some versatility that other XBMC boxes lack. It does have few issues. The wifi range is ok but not great. The remote is really, really bad. You will need to invest in another remote (i.e. Logitech K400). Besides these problems, I think it's a decent box. My advice for XBMC users is to get a FireTV instead. If you don't need an external SD and 4USB, the FireTV is ideal. FiretV only has one usb, but everything else on the FireTV is so much better than the GBox MX2. The Wifi range, the remote, and the superior processor of the FireTV blows the Gbox away. If you subscribe to Amazon Prime, then it's a no-brainer to choose FireTv over any other box.

The best $90 I've ever spent. Only really use it for XBMC but since having this box it's saved me around $140 a month on cable fees and subscriptions - would highly recommend it!

Buyer Beware --- Bad Product or Requires Way too Much Expertise to Configure Properly, November 18, 2014
Cannot get this device to mount an external hard drive at all! Plus, the RCA connector option has failed on its 2nd day of attempted configuration. If there were some kind of real support for the G-Box MX2 model (g18-1.2) that I received, I would be happy. There's not. The remote is not very useful either. If you're trying to replace a Roku, try something else.

Let down, November 18, 2014
I really really really wanted to love this. Sounded like the perfect XBMC solution that I had been looking for for so long. Had so many problems with it. Seller ended up sending me a new box because my firmware wouldn't updated correctly. Still had issues after that and finally just gave up trying. Its not that I didn't try, or couldn't figure it out. I've been running XBNC on devices since the old school moded xboxes. Might just go to a straight HTPC at this point.

Not good, November 18, 2014
Difficult to use, the remote control lack the features this device needs. No updates as well.
